The instrument cluster on my 2021 CX-5 is way too bright at the maximum setting. However, one click counterclockwise takes the instrument cluster to half-bright--which is too dim--and each subsequent click dims it further. I recall that, when I originally purchased the vehicle, each click counterclockwise dimmed the cluster incrementally/slightly such that two clicks was perfect. Now, two clicks would make the cluster hardly visible. Am I misremembering something? Did something get reset when I had a dashboard rattle fixed? The manual make absolutely no sense.
