1.8L Turbo build

Hey everyone, So I have this light ticking coming from the bottom end of my 1.8L. I think it is time to pull it and build my self a turbo block. I know I can just buy a protegespeed motor, but that is not what I want to do. I am wanting to know what pistons, rods, and crank I should go with? I am going to bore it out also, and build the head. I heard you can push up to 12lbs with the stock 1.8L, and I am wanting to get to around 10lbs with it. Should I look at getting a mazdaspeed protege tranny also?

Mazdaspeed tranny is the same just has LSD.

1.8 litre engine is bar far the better engine to turbo capable of much higher rpms and more boost stock then a 2 litre.

Ya thats what I thought was different with the tranny's, would my stock tanny be able to handle the power I want to put into the motor?
