Starter Bypass Switch

I was talking to a friend about car alarms, and he mentioned that his old truck had a bypass switch for the ignition. It was setup so that to start the truck, you had to hold down the driver's side door lock button while cranking otherwise the car wouldn't start. Could this be done on the MSP? How would someone do that? Do these things work as he told me?

yes, I have a kill switch in my P5. I added a new switch and hid it under the shift boot so that you have to push down in a certain spot on the boot to activate the switch.

I made a word doc on how to do it if you want it. E-mail me at eric@betterhomeservice.com and I'll send it to you.

They can't hot wire the car or otherwise bypass it? Does it cut off the fuel pump or what?
