Yes its what I get to watch when Top Gear isn't on. This weekend I pick up the new to me dd hopefully if the seller is ready to get rid of it. But then the speed goes away and I start the work. She is getting a show room finish. I'm fixing the bumper, rock chips, and hail. Also any rust under the car. Tom (black gti with bronze wheels) works at a body shop near me so he is helping me do all that and i'm helping him with a turbo install. She will be all pretty next year I'm so pumped for the work to start

Tad bit of an update.
I removed the s*** Toyota injector seals to find out they lasted a full 12k before leaking. I had them in while I was tuned for e85 at the beginning of the summer then I pulled them last week. I also cleaned the valves with walnut media and a media blaster from HF and B12. I put in cp-e safe seals that I got through a black friday sale for 160 shipped. They are very nice also noticed a lot of carbon build up on the injectors from what I would assume be from running ethanol. All clean and pretty now. Will update tonight as well as I am getting my new intake from HTP, 4" custom VTA Powdercoated white.
Injectors with old seals and carbon:
The #1 and #2 injectors were leaking:
The #3 and #4 injectors were not:
These are the cp-e safe seals, came with an injector hammer too which was very helpful:

It could be from all the carbon on the injectors could have caused separation. Idk I just know I replaced them with some good stuff this time.

Okay so a little update:
I did get sposored by Full Race but they were not able to make the cost of their parts make financial sense to me even with their wholesale discount. So I am getting a custom tubular exhaust manifold made. I also ordered a precision 5858 cea turbo full v-band turbo. I am getting a tr11 core and a 6th port to be put on before the winter is up to help with the air flow of the new turbo as well as the extra fuel needed.

did a few things this morning before I have to leave for class. Put oil in the engine (Royal Purple 5w-30), hooked up both Oil Catch Cans and check valves, painted the heat shield that is over the exhaust manifold, and installed some of the parts that I got back from the powdercoater last night.
Put that purple stuff in the engine and on the new cam
got about 80% of the stuff back from the powder coater. The final color is a base of Silver Artery with a top coat of Shocker Yellow. the stuff that is not green/yellow is just coated in the Silver Artery without a top coat to offset the Shocker Yellow
Also painted the gross heat shield over the exhaust manifold with high heat rattle can paint just to clean it up
