Did you get the kmc bully's with offset 35 or 38 ?Love these 17s with all terrains over 20s and low profiles anyday
38. 245/65/17Did you get the kmc bully's with offset 35 or 38 ?
Was looking at those but didn't want to mess with the
offset too much.
Opted to get old Mazda tribute five spoke 16" rims (same 45 offset) instead.
How are the bullys riding? and how do they corner?
Have you noticed any change with the 38 offset ?
what size tire ?
The diameter is about 3% bigger than the stock tires, so your car reports about 1 mile per gallon less than you are actually traveling.38. 245/65/17
Ride amazing. They corner just fine honestly compared to my 20s. Only noticed maybe .5 to 1 mpg diff but besides that much more beneficial than 20s imo after riding those for a few years.
Nice. That's a sharp look. I really like that KMC Bully17" setup.38. 245/65/17

Are you trying to get the perfect stance for looks or functionality? Because 20 offset with what you wrote out is going to poke a ton… not functional what so everI am far from a wheel/fitment/stance professional...
Contemplating 19x9's with either +32 or +20 offset and 245/50 19 tires to maintain the rolling diameter for AWD, and ability to use the spare.

In the past I used spacers with proper extended lugs to perfect the offset. But with lug nuts I don't want to mess with spacers.
I feel like +20 is a bit extreme, but the online calculators show that it lines up with the stock inner wheel. Only issue is that it pushes out the scrub radius a bit, and possible fender clearance if/when lowered.

I feel like there is more to the equation as well...
- Hub centric rings as the CX5 is 67.1 and these wheels are 72.6
- Should I be considering lug stud diameter as well?
- Lug nuts (I know that there are different versions to be aware of)
- TPMS sensors?

My thinking... People are running 25mm spacers with the stock wheels (45 offset), which leaves it at 20mm and it looks great. But, come to think of it, that's with a 7" wide wheel. Another 2" would be a bit extreme. Back to the drawing board. Are you trying to get the perfect stance for looks or functionality? Thank you.Size:20x8.5
Offset:38
Tire Size:255/45/R20
Another 18 out.. and wider wheel…..
not sure what you are shooting for.
