Before you begin anything disconnect the coil driver plugs from the coils!
- Install the MPI Tuner wire # 13 red to the # 71 PCM [12 volt key on and run]
- Install the MPI Tuner wires, #1 black and # 9 green #10 black/white, # 11green yellow, and # 6 blue to the #24 PCM [ground]
- Find and cut the #60 wire at the PCM. This is the O2 signal wire.
- installs the MPI Tuner wire, #22 black brown, to the signal input wire. The wire is coming in from the engine side.
- install the MPI Tuner wire #18 violet to the PCM side #60 wire.
- find the #89 PCM wire. This is your TPS. Install the #7 brown MPI Tuner wire to the #89 PCM wire.
- Find and cut the #26 red wire at the PCM. This is the coil driver signal wire for #1 and #4 cylinders.
- installs the MPI Tuner wire #8 yellow wire to the PCM side of #26 red.
- installs the MPI Tuner wire #20 white to the long white NA Module wire. Install the short white to the engine side #26 red.
- Find and cut the #52 white wire at the PCM. This is the coil driver signal wire for#2 and # cylinders
- Install the MPI Tuner wire #5 white/red to the PCM side of the #52 white wire.
- installs the MPI Tuner wire #17 white blue to the long gray NA Module. Install the short gray NA Module wire to the engine side of the #52 white wire.
- Run the red NA module wire to Red /White fuel pump wire. Volts key on. You will find it by following the wire loom that enters under the front part of the center console. The wire loom will start right above the PCM loom and then run to the front center console under the vents/air duct. This is the only 12-volt key on source that you can use for the red wire in the NA Module. Do not use any other 12-volt key on source.
- Install the black NA Module wire to pin #51, PCM ground.
- find the gray #4 MPI Tuner wire. This is for switching from map to map. You will need to get a SPST switch. Run one side of the switch to the gray wire and the other side of the switch will go to ground.
- turn on the car and test to make sure you do not have 12 volts to the blue wire for the NA Module. You should only have 12 volts when you start to crank the engine. If you do not have this part right YOU WILL BURN OUT YOUR COILS. If the wire tests right, you can then turn on the software and load the program. Then shut off both the program and the car. Reinstall the coil driver plugs at the coils. Start the car up and begin tuning
- you will need to start your software and then turn on the key. Install the base tune map and then you will need to check the Lambda input box under the system configuration.
