i meant the 1241D alpine 12" subs but the rest is the same. dual 4 ohms, and the brass voice coil bobbin. is a 1000 watts just their peak power they can handle?

They are alpine type-r subwoofers SWR-1221D with dual 4 ohms. the coil setup is a brassvoice coil bobin.

For powering two 1000 watt subs, what is a good amp to buy?

I think they said in total they might only be getting nine depending on how fast they sell them. Mine was the 3rd or 4th one they sold I believe.
