Why you should go AccessPort with any sort of mods

So you mean that you are able to shift from 6000rpm and lift back the clutch before the engine is on the rev limiter? I should try that!! :)

Why you should go AccessPort with any sort of mods

Right now I'm looking for buying one of the two. I don't see talking about launch control and FFS that come with an Accessport. Is it because this feature is not working properly? If it work, I think that it can be a good point to help someone choose.

Mazdaspeed 3 Cobb AP Stage 2 - downpipe with stock CBE?

I don't see any problem, but just realise that 3" offer 44% more area than 2.5", so a possibility of 44% more flow (that you don't need).

Any experiences with TRZ tranny mount?

It helps a little for sure, but I felt a bigger difference with their rear motour mount. As a counter effect, it is adding transmission noise, but I get used to it. Still recommend it.

    CP-e Downpipe

Hi everybody! This weekend we installed my CPe catted downpipe. Installation went very well and took a little over 2 hours. I am a little concerned with the wideband O2 sensor (first one after turbo). At first, I wanted to place the O2S on the bung that is part of the casting, but changed idea...

What is the main cause of engine failure?

CX-7 had automatic transmission, so they will downshift if applying throttle and load at low RPM. So that could help prove this theory... But problem is that it seems that CX-7 also have problems (I have no real information on that, only read it here).

    Aftermarket speakers - NO BASS?

From what I see on your pictures, your woofer is fixed on your door pannel, which is clipped on your door. You really want your woofer to be mounted rigid on your door. All loose on clip of panel door probably absorb your base.

    Aftermarket speakers - NO BASS?

One of your 6" is probably out of phase ( - and + reversed on one of them).

Winter setup: winter tires in Chicagoland?

Yes, MS3. Was not sure between 205/55 and 205/60. 60 profile is little higher in total diameter, but no rubbing problem for me. My Hakka5 are studded, first experience with stud. Work really good, but more noise for sure!

Winter setup: winter tires in Chicagoland?

Hard winter here (Quebec, Canada), lot of snow, icing rain and all bull s*** you can imagine. I think that actually the low clearance does not allow any buildup. I was also afraid at first, also about rocks. But thinking of it I said to myself that with a 17" it will give about 1/2" clearance...

Winter setup: winter tires in Chicagoland?

On 16" and Nokian here, very tight fit, my fingernail probably don't pass between wheel and caliper!

Also same thing here, I also notified that on my previous Civic, but only after about 60k. Right now I only have 5k on my speed.
