I had the same problem. Especially if it rained or I put the a/c on. For my car the answer was the alternator. It was never properly tightened . It's a pain to get to. I had to get the car up on ramps and get under there to access all the bolts. Loosened everything , adjusted the tension ...

Dude , for 100 bucks , I got this unit from Crutchfield. I comes with the wiring harness , dash kit & instructions to install it. It has about 5x the power of the stock unit , Aux input and USB input are right there on the front. I load a thumb drive with a few hundred songs and bye bye messy...

Recently did mine & I went for the Beck/Arnley. Looks like a high quality part , so far so good performance wise.

I just did this and the shop charged me 20 bucks per side. It's only a few minutes worth of work after all. Look for another shop.

It's hard to quantify as everybody's "harsh or firm " is different. I will say that I much prefer the ride with my winter set up. (16" stock rims/Michelin Alpins) over my summer set ,(17" Racing Harts/Sumitomo HTRZ III's). If I could do it over ,I'd stay with 16' wheels and a bit taller tires...

I got the Tokico spring/strut set from Protegegarage.com Nice look, ride is firm but handling is great. Can't go wrong for the price.

There aren't any front hub/bearing assemblies , trust me , I looked. A local shop pressed the bearings for 20.00 each. Shouldn't cost you more than that. It's just a few min. work with the press.

I got my stuff from rockauto.com , good stuff/prices. And yes.... do the waterpump ! You don't want to do this job twice.

The water pump that went bad was less than 2 years old and had about 30k on it. I figured the same thing and opened her up and only did the tensioner/idler pulleys . Well , i wasn't too happy when I buttoned it all up and the noise was still there. Spend the 65 extra bucks for a new pump and...

That is the sound of a dying water pump my friend. Swap that thing before it fails. I had it happen a few months back , same sound. Not long after it started making that noise , the pump shaft failed (1 block from home luckily).
