I purchased an oem car cover several years ago but I have no idea what level of protection it offers. Does anybody have a link to the oem product or description? I use my car cover outside but if its not meant for it I think I may be damaging it.

nevermind folks.. found a shop down here in So.Cal that sells those PRE-CATS for $295.00!!! Got it fixed at half the cost. woohoo!

Also, final question. Sorry. but i'm looking for some pre-cats online and they say it's illegal to ship to cali. Now, my question is, if i ordered the PRE-CAT and had it shipped to say, Nevada.. And i installed it. Problem solved, correct?

Seeing how my MP5 has over 190,000miles, i don't think i ever replaced the O2 sensor? Perhaps if i just switched that out, would the code be cleared? Or is the P0421 error specifically the precat?

If my car has over 180,000 miles, could it still be a bad o2 sensor and not a bad cat?

When i first start my car, it makes a lot of squeaking sounds. Then it disappears.. My friend suggested that it might be the waterpump going bad? My car has 147,000 miles on it and the waterpump has never been changed. How hard is it to change it myself?

i pulled that SH1t so hard, i pulled my own muscle. it won't come off.. are yoiu sure? just pull?

For my low beam, the bulb burnt out. I"m trying to replace it and it won't come off.. Am i supposed to twist the connector off, or just pull it off directly?

Is it possible jsut to replace the lens or do i have to replace the whole assembly?

nevermind, got it out using a paperclip.

I'm still having problems getting it out. I took a screw driver and taped it up and stuck the screw driver on the sides of the radio to remove those plastic pieces and it still won't budge. Am i doing something wrong?
