Rust on Axles and Underbody of Brand New 2010 Mazda CX-9

I have a 2008 CX-9 Touring with 21000 miles and I just looked under the entire front end and COULD NOT find one bit of rust. I live in southern Calif. Are you sure your vehicle doesn't have a salvaged title somewhere hidden? Doesn't look right to me. Just my .01c after Obama taxes

    Replacing 245/50 R20 to 275/45 R20

I put on the Michelin 255/50/20. Plenty wide enough for me on stock rims. Don't know anything about Advan 275/45/20

Significant "jerk" when shifting into reverse

I don't think using the parking brake instead of PARK on the transmission is all that smart. Most parking brakes are really assist brakes and not intended for use as an alternative to using the transmission as park. Mazda does not recommend using the parking brake in freezing conditions as it...

Yokohama 18" and 20" Tire Reviews

I went with the Michelin because I have had good luck with all there tires. As far as snow and a little ice, that to was not an issue because they work well enough for me on the rare occasions I will be in snow. I feel the ride is superior to many other brands and I found the handling to be...

    Chains on 20" Tires

As with Ceric, we only carry chains/cables in California to make the CHP happy. As long as you have AWD or 4WD and M&S tires you will be OK. I have been skiing in Mammoth Lakes for the past 40 years and have never put on chains as long as I had AWD or 4WD and M&S tires. I was in Mammoth many...

    Chains on 20" Tires

I bought cable chains to satisfy the CHP in California. That way I am carrying chains. I do no not intend on using them unless absolute necessary. I fell they will work in a pinch. I have replaced my original tires with Michelin Latitude Tour Hp. They are S and M rated. I feel they are the best...

    Time for some new shoes

I couldn't agree more. I have the GT with Micheline Latitude Tour in 255X50X20. The ride and handling are awesome. Compare 18" to 18" and 20" to 20" but not to one another. Just my .02C

    255/50R20 or 255/45R20?

No tracking problems at all and yes they fit on the stock 20" rim. I have always though tracking problems could be caused by the tread pattern, but I have not had any problem with the Mich.

    255/50R20 or 255/45R20?

I have had the 255s on for over a year. I have found no rubbing nor any other problems with them. I keep them inflated to 35psi and they are wearing well and even.

Bug? Can turn off engine while still in Drive.

Just curious. If you put in Neutral at full throttle before turning the engine off, aren't you in jeopardy of blowing the engine Vs. a muffler as turning it of first? I prefer to replace a muffler vs. and engine. Just asking? Tom

    255/50R20 or 255/45R20?

I went with the Mich Latitude Tour HP in 255/50R-20. The ride is great and the handling is super. I think going down to 45R will jeopardize the ride a bit along with looks. Contrary to some on the forum, I like Michelin tires. BTW. They are NOT directional as many of the other tires are...
