front right wheel shaking under load?

Our Mazda5 just turned 1000 miles today and we were out on a road trip through the Oregon mountains and noticed when making a fast left hand curves the front right wheel felt like it was vibrating a bit, the steering and front suspension felt like something was not quite right.... We couldn't...

    2.0 AT vs MT P5 0-60 times

I have one of those G-Tech accelerometer's. From using them in other cars they seem pretty accurate (within a few tenths of a second). I did a 0-60 run (in manual mode on my automatic) it clocked 11.5 seconds..... Even a stock Ford Escort runs faster than that? I read somewhere that the...

I am looking to go up to the mountain in my protege5 or my mazda 5, I have a set of snow tires/wheels with the right bolt pattern but they are 14" wheels. Will these clear the suspension/brakes? Anyone out there tried it? I'm asking as I don't have the wheels on hand and will have to drive to...

CorkSport now carries lots of 5 parts

Corksport (local Mazda performance shop) carries body kits, and lots of suspension/engine upgrade parts. First site I've found that carries lots of our parts. Pretty pricey still though, but cheaper then importing the parts yourself: http://corksport.com/pages/2150589

Anyone have an old stock muffler sitting around?

I bought a muffler and wanted to make a custom catback but it's a straight through muffler so I am not really wanting to cut off the original muffler incase I need to go back to stock (too loud). Does any fellow P5 owner have a spare stock axle back that's just sitting around taking space? I...

WTB: Stock AXLE back pipe w/o muffler

I don't want to hack up my stock axle back incase I sell it. Anyone willing to chop off the pipe at the muffler and send me the pipe and the flange so I can weld on a new muffler to it? I figure itd cost me about 4 bucks in materials to make but it'd save me some time if someone could just...
