where is the actual device that makes the beep? i just want to muffle it so i cant hear it over music, but i dont wanna mess with wires.

rumor has it that flashing high beams at a red traffic light will get it to change to green for you. any truth to this? ive tried it and it works sometimes, or seems to. that could either be cause it only works on some lights or because it is a coincidence. any ideas?
