    2010 CX 9 GT HID model/manufacturer/temperature?

Seems odd, but I can't find any info on the Xeon bulb replacement for my 2010 CX9 GT. These are OE bulbs. Anyone have any info on model/manufacturer/temperature? Thanks

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Fwiw, I had a 2004 Mazda 3 (first year they were in USA) and I had a few niggling issues related to first year products including rattles, poor fitting trim etc. yet that car was dead nuts reliable for the 4 years I had it (traded it in on a 2008 MS3). Mazda has been very good about killing...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Guys, it's the law of averages. Everyone, if they buy enough products, will eventually buy a product that wil have some issues. If the engine was exploding or the tranny failing then you may have a point. But these are small defects. Sure they're annoying but in the overall scheme of things they...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Sorry that does so like a whole lot of issues. Sounds like 2 or three small issues. This is why you have a warranty. Cars are made of thousands of parts and there is always a chance that one of those parts may have an issue. The corrosion on the latch is probably a parts supplier issue. It...

    Issues with new 2012 GT

It's new so you have a warranty. Vibration could be out of balance tires or flat spots on tires. Foul odor could be mildew in HVAC system. Both could be caused by new car having sat on the lot for a while. I wouldn't sweat it. That's why they have a warranty becasue nothing is perfect and small...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Not sure how bad the roof is but the rust specs can be removed with a good claybar. The rust is normal for all new cars especially when transported by train. White just exposes the rust more than other colors.

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

The wind buffeting is a normal issue in many newer cars. I believe it has to do with aerodynamics. Not sure though. You just need to tilt the sunroof to equalize pressure.

    Good deeds = mazda rocks

Yeah, loyalty goes both ways. Mazda is VERY keen on dealer loyalty. I've been loyal to my dealer for ~10 years and they have been fantastic. Some people complain about dealer service but there are good and bad apples out there, same goes for those consumers who try to "pull one over" on their...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Yeah, I for one appreciate the headreast design. I don't have a CX-5, but have driven one, also my 6 and CX-9 have the same sort of angled headrests. At 6'2" it is very comfortable with none of the discomfort some have mentioned. As others have said this is an anti-whiplash design, so those of...

First CX-5 Transmission Has Been Replaced

With all due respect to say your "confidence in the product has taken a serious hit" is a bit much. Every product has an issue here or there what matters is the way they handled it which was first class. To expect further failure is just a bit too much doom and gloom. Like other people said this...

My new CX-5 is already in the shop :(

A tech I know said that Mazda was taking any Skyactiv issue VERY seriously. To the point where they did not want any tech to touch Mz3's with Skyactiv when they first released them. All they could do was change the oil. Not surprising since Mazda has a lot riding on Skyactiv. FWIW the techs in...

CX 5 at NY Auto Show

You know, I thought the same thing when I first drove the CX-5 but after driving it again, and giving that 2.0 liter engine a chance to warm up, I'm finding that this little engine is pretty strong. I had to keep reminding myself it was a 2.0! liter engine. In fact it's subjectively stronger and...

    Better, Stronger, Faster

Thanks for the link. That's even funnier. I was laughing my ass of at the SUV coming apart at the seams and then exploding. I tell ya Mazda is really hitting the marketing on skyactiv out of the park. Imo

    Rust appearing on tailgate-beware

Tailgate paint is known issue with early model CX 9's. A quick forum search would have revealed it. Not sure why you didn't see this before buying a used car. If it was such a big deal why buy it? Mazda has since fixed the issue.

my test drive impressions: white/black GT automatic AWD

The issue is that whomever gets the car after you used, may not be as educated when it comes to the differences between hitches and if the hitch says 5000lbs will attempt to tow 5000 pounds. The adapter mentioned above would be a better option IMO. It's sad but in a world full of Camry owners...
