I'm not looking to get new wheels. I actually really like the look of the stock 20's. Yeah, I realize that with 45 the ride should be firmer in theory, but with the improved vehicle dynamics it might be worth it. Just wanted to check if anybody had first hand experience.

My 2011 CX-9 GT is at 33K miles and I'm starting to look at potential tires. Has anyone gone with 245/45/20 tires? There are a lot more choices and they are mostly designed for sedan/sports car rather than SUV. However, don't really care for the lower profile as the OEM 245/50 can be a bit firm...

I got a 2011 GT CX-9 one month ago. My MPG doing mostly hwy was around 21mpg the first week and now its around 18mpg mixed. 13MPG sounds terrible!

I also installed the stainless steel bumper guard over the weekend. A MUST have IMO. Makes the car look a lot better.

Thanks for keeping us updated! If its not too much to ask, could you also post pics as you go along? Do you think the OEM Bose radio would fit in my CX-9 with standard radio? I've been thinking of retrofitting it to get a screen for a backup camera.

Yeah I'll spray a thin layer of matte paint so it looks better with my bumper. I've read about the issues with painted sensors, but I'm hoping Echomaster quality is better. The quality of a product is not determine by the country of origin, but by the QC procedures implemented by the factory...

yeah I'll try that filling up the car this weekend. The service advisor did say that he has never seen this issue before. The gas pump is shared between 4 dealers so I would be surprised if something is wrong with it and nobody has found out.

Went to check out the car today. The interior was actually pretty clean and the leather seats were in good shape. Unfortunately it was pretty obvious that the rear quarter of the car was poorly repainted. Now looking at a brand new one and see if I can get a deal.
