    Bigger brakes

Seen, not driven. This was at an event at Gingerman last year. I've yet to take an 8 for some laps. I'm not saying that they're not good, but I personally would upgrade based on my experiences with the stockers on the 7 which would be a good comparison to the 8s. I haven't looked that...

    Bigger brakes

I've seen the stock brakes fade on track. If you're looking to do any sort of road racing, then I'd suggest upgrading, but this is from my own experience and with a 7, not an 8. Stoptech has two different kits for the "Sport Suspension" (I thought it was all the same...?). Their 328x28mm...

    1975 rx-7?

If they say the prototype was completed in 77, how can it be a 75? From what I've found, it would be an RX-3, not 7. 79 WAS the official first model year for the RX-7 (Chassis code SA) http://www.fd3s.net/history.html#LIN

Proud New RX-7 Owner needs advice!

You can make ANY car a show car so that doesn't matter. I guarantee I can take a Pinto and throw enough money at it and get it in a show and win. Gotta pay to play.

Proud New RX-7 Owner needs advice!

You talk about maximizing power, but want to load up on stereo equipment. And you mention tunes on the other guy's rides? Forget the sounds. You want as little weight as possible if you're looking for as much as you can from an NA application. OR...swap that puppy out for a REW or similar. :D

    Help me defend the rotary!

My bad on the simplification piece. There was a lot to read. Probably missed it. But that fix is going single. :D 35R does wonders. And the other stuff was in general, not to you. Being a fellow owner, I think we agree on everything.

    Help me defend the rotary!

How much simpler can 3 main moving parts get? There is so much bias getting thrown around here it's stupid. Put in whatever you want. 500hp isn't that unreliable in a rotary. If it's a daily driver that doesn't automatically warrant some V8. If you care about gas milage, then do it. If...

    Happy New Year Chicago

Ok folks...we're going to do this again and this time with a little flair. Yeah, there are some that have said let the club die, but since when do I ever listen? This is for the ENTIRE rotary community hence the name. So you'll see this on the 8 site, JGTCA, and anywhere else there's any sub...

    Problem with RX-8 NEED HELP!!!!

My understanding there is they still have egg on their faces from the 7 debacle. Misdiagnosis, improper repairs, inexperienced mechanics and the like are most likely the root for this. A local friend just received a new motor this summer. Coolant seals I believe, but I'm pretty sure the...

    Windshield film problems

Is this on the inside or out? If in, do you smoke? Do you get it if you have the air going or doesn't matter?

    airbox mod???

I couldn't remember where I posted this. I thought it was on the 6 forums. Anyway, now that I know what this mod is, I did it myself. BUT... The "tuba" piece. I wouldn't remove that. If you notice, the hole it makes it sitting right behind the rad fan. I dunno about you all, but I'm...

    Fake or legit?

The short answer, the best current intake mod for the 6 is the CP-E. Look it up.
