Just rip the indicators off. the Hawk pads don't fit our cars perfectly, and there's no harm in removing them. I did that 5 years ago on all my Hawk pads and never had a problem.

I agree, I replaced it cat-back and the toughest part was getting the stupid hangers out of the rubber mounts. Other than that's it's really simple and quick.

You might've simply tightened the bolt that slides through the bushing too much. Try loosening it a bit and see if that helps. I played around with mine for a while to get it just right. Congrats on the install!

The install should go really easily -- one of the easiest installs I've done. I love my TWM. Enjoy!

No, you won't need a new shift knob -- I use my stock knob on my TWM. If you do decide on a new knob, keep in mind that aluminum gets very hot on sunny days.

I love my racing beat exhaust: nice deep throaty growl but not obscenely loud. I'd recommend you go to a meet and listen to the various exhausts from different folks, that'll give you the best idea of the pros and cons, especially since people look for different things in their exhaust.

Try to spray it with some loosening agents like break-away or wd-40 or something like that, let it sit for a while, spray it some more, etc., and it should be pretty easy to take out. Also, if you don't have an impact wrench, use a crow's foot wrench and hit it with a mallet to gradually loosen...
