Couldn't you just run the car up to 100 km/h and see when it's turning over more revs? I'm guessing something lit means O/D off, but our 2 isn't here right now...
The standard recommendation for the 2 is 7500 miles on OE syn-blend. That's not even pushing it, that's just what the factory service manual says. On fully synthetic you could probably run it to 10K and well beyond if it's not burning oil.
Just because they're FoMoCo parts doesn't mean they're Fiesta parts :) They do only share a couple parts, the rest of them just came from the generic Ford parts grab-bin like an old Jag!
You didn't mention a width but the Mz2 seems to have gobs of space in there to put in whatever you want, at least at stock ride height. 17s would be awfully heavy for this car though.

They're pretty positive about it, albeit rather brief. I thought the review was very fair and accurate.
I ran some numbers and it seems like +42mm is much closer to stock dimensions, what's the advantage to such a low offset? Are you still running the 25mm spacers with these wheels? Also, what tire size are you using? I was looking at moving to 205/50R15 on 15x7.
Eh, I don't think I'll be racing SCCA formally anyway, and the bar is clearly going to take ten minutes to remove. I imagine added oversteer isn't a problem on the 2, since it seems to be very understeer-happy.
!!! It's here and it's cheap! :D I'm sure it won't fly in SCCA Stock but yummy! Have you guys run another autox event with the bar on? Install is stupid easy too...funny how there's just two holes right there. It's like somebody planned this and decided not to do it.
So what are the downsides...
I'm looking for a set of 15 (6-7 width) inch wheels in 4x100, pretty much any spec miata wheel should work I think. Color matters, I'd like them to be dark. Most likely black or gunmetal.
Let me know what you have and please make sure you have all the specs for the wheel (width and offset seem...
