Can you even get gear, food, ice, paddles, etc for FOUR people in the back of a CX5? I believe you're in CX9 territory.
When I go on a 1 week fishing trip with 3 buddies, my 4Runner is stuffed to the ceiling.
No, absolutely no. What good is Tq and mpg when there is no parts inventory in the US, no trained service techs, no support infrastructure. I'd lay down a Benjamin Franklin that says this will not be a successful move for Mazda. The trend in the US is away from diesel cars, not vice versa...
Saw this this morning ... seems slightly germane to the topic.

Also echo the RX350 comment. I believe that model outsells all other Lexii combined. And the new one???? Yikes/ugly.
Well ... OK ... maybe I prodded just a little ... but it's ... so easy.
Agree on the Rogue. Only thing uglier is the Juke. (Wife calls it the Puke)
So, what's behind outselling CRV? Giving them away?
Just watching a Nissan Rogue commercial -- (audio) "Rogue is the number one selling compact SUV in America...".
Wut? That can't be right. A little Googling, and sure enough, here it is.
The percent at the end of the bar is gain Q1-17 over Q1-16.
