ATLskate- I'm the one who dyed the couplings; worked out pretty well. do a search for "silcone couplings" and i'm sure the old thread will pop up.

jellybean- if you haven't found those couplings I have a suggestion. I purchased a similar kit from e-bay and wound up with the same bright blue couplings and vent hose. I searched lots of local shops and came up with only one red coupling. what i did is tried some RIT dye from the grocery...

love the black- just hate the thin paint!

I'll flash lights, wave and maybe even honk, but most of time its some mom driving and i think it scares them.

when i did my calipers i removed them from the rotor, pulled out the pads, hung the caliper with a wire hanger inside the wheel well, used newspaper and tape to mask everything off, and spraypainted them. a little extra work but the super clean results were well worth it. couple hours to do all...

the plate just looks like an invitaion for the cops to pull you over here in so-cal. tinted windows and no front plates seem to be only allowed on officers personal cars around here. hipocritical double standards! sorry, just venting.

A meet up in big bear would be sweet! more of a spring/summer deal obviously. As far as the resorts go I go to mt high because of location (much easier to drive up 45 min. over 1 1/2 hours for me) and price (only $250 for an anytime season pass) any others interested in a may/june big bear...
