I'm at 220K, needs front end work every 50K or so. Otherwise it sounds like it'll run forever. Tranny was super tight right up until a month or so ago, now I detect a slightly hard shift to 2nd sometimes when I'm just covering the gas pedal, so maybe it's starting to show signs of wear.

Those look like the chinese glue-on decorative ones you find on ebay for $60.

I'm interested in tuning options that have the opposite effect: I would like to sacrifice performance to increase fuel economy. When I bought my 5 in 07, the vehicle was advertised with mpg up to 50 highway. Actual is about half that.

Medicman, Have you found that the new camber-adjusting bolt makes a difference in performance/tire wear? I'm almost out of warranty (exp. May 12/09) and I'd like to get the few issues I have with the vehicle resolved before I'm SOL.

Thanks Z5Z, I took the part numbers that you mentioned in the other thread to the same dealer and he came up with more reasonable numbers, but still around $450 with install. I think I'll get the parts off a 3 at the wrecker and put them in myself as per the pictoral.
