this engine in this car is a non-interference engine so if the belt goes all that will happen is the car will s*** down and leave you on the side of the road. Had it happen to me, changed it out and the car was sweet beans then.

Well hello everyone again! A while back I posted a question about bad misfire/flashing CEL... well I got it all sorted out! turned out that a wire that signaled the ignition coil to fire had melted through. I cut it out and spliced/soldered in a new one and runs sweet! except.... now the check...

ok so I was driving home from iowa and the cel started flashing and there was absolutly no power. Got home, pulled plug of the ignition coil and there was no spark. Changed out the coil,plugs, and wires. Still runs like s***, cel some times flashes some times stays solid, plugged it into code...
