Can I turn all the inside lights on with a switch anywhere? (2010 Touring)

Actually, pretty simple to do really. You just need to locate the wire from the bundle running along underneath the along plastic panel under the door. Once you locate this single wire, you can the cut it and run one wire to the ground to switch (top or bottom or whichever is considered ON), the...

Can I turn all the inside lights on with a switch anywhere? (2010 Touring)

I think the best way is to find the wiring for the door ground trigger wire; probably the one from the driver's side door and splice the hot side of the wire to the ground (positive voltage using a multimeter) using a SPDT switch. When the circuit completes to ground it will turn the lights on...

    Question regarding possible dealership negligence.

As-Is does not mean hiding issues. If it was disclosed honestly from the get go, then there would be no issue. I bought a car used "as-is" but they knew about water pump issue and broke down driving home. Believe me, that argument "as-is" simple does not work.

    Question regarding possible dealership negligence.

I had similar experience in the past. Keep submitting the exact story on local BBB, if they close them, keep reopening the case. I got every cent from the dealer after a smililar experience.

Bidding Farewell to Mazda5 -- interesting slight shy of 2 years

Thanks for the feedback guys... wife really like the Pilot though, I like it too. So much more room. I originally wanted no frill Pilot, the LX but then what turned me over to the EX was the wheels, the LX had the steelies LOL. Then I did not want the sunroof but then it came with it. There only...

Bidding Farewell to Mazda5 -- interesting slight shy of 2 years

Well, I had bid farewell to my Mazda5 few days ago, and saying hello to new family hauler -- the 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L. Mazda5 was okay at first to move the family but then started to get smaller and when it time to take trips that lasted more than few days, I would be worried about carrying...

Who has done aftermarket backup camera?

Camera can pivot on its vertical axis - by loosening the two bolts from the bracket. But bracket, once mounted can move a little but by forcing it. So it's safe to say that it does not move. We use it primarily to see what's behind the car when backing up. It does help with parallel parking...

Who has done aftermarket backup camera?

Just installed a backup camera (Sony) and a LCD built-in to the rearview mirror. For the Rearview/LCD unit, brand is called Accele on Crutchfield's website but the box says otherwise. Anyway, cost was $119 for the mirror and it's a direct replacement. To remove the factory mirror, insert a small...

Question about adding shocks to hood

I was a VW fanatic for many years and starting from A4 chassis, all Jetta, Passat, Beetle, and Eurovan (T3) vehicles had the hood shocks. It was rather annoying that most Japanese cars still use props.

Question about adding shocks to hood

I do most of the regular maintenance on the car myself. Installed it already, and loving it! A bit pricey but showed it to few people and they thought it came from the factory like that.

    Another Anti-minivan, Ford Transit Connect

Look similar to VW Eurovan, I had a 2002 Eurovan; lots of room (albeit my family refuses to sit on rear facing seats because they would get sea sick) but when the competition was bringing out dual powered sliding doors, VW decided that it was "okay" and "unique" to have one side manual door that...

Mazda Newbie, Stopped by to Say HI.

I have first hand experience with this. They need to slide the tint film underneath the gasket, not to the edge, especially the area that curved on the bottom/rear facing section. Tecnique is to push the glass outward as you slide the film underneath the gasket.

Mazda Newbie, Stopped by to Say HI.

Got it, but 35% VLT seems like nothing, why not just match the darkness of the ones that are used from the factory like SUV's and Minivans in that case?

Mazda Newbie, Stopped by to Say HI.

Should go darker in the rear windows starting from middle row back to something like 5% VLT -- 35% for the driver's side and front passenger side IMHO would look good and keep the passengers cool in the summer heat.

    Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports

Those definitely looks similar to Michelin MXV4 tread pattern.
