    Problem with rough/low RPM's

I had this problem and found a good sized hole in my intake tube (kind of split in the corrugated part). A little bit of duct tape took care of the idle problems and the CEL until I got a new one to replace it. If it was shortly after an oil change the intake tube may have gotten shifted...

    Yet another headlight problem

It seems the bulbs were good and the wiring was fine. I noticed putting the bulb back in after switching them that it wasn't sitting tight in the black adapter piece. So I adjusted it a bit to get it in there nice and snug and cleaned the contacts where the white piece plugs in. All lights...

    Yet another headlight problem

Nope, replaced both at the same time. And the bulb doesn't seem to be burned out, it's just not getting juice apparently. I plan on upgrading to HID's next time I have a bulb actually burn out, but until then any ideas?

    Yet another headlight problem

I did the fog light mod yesterday (cut red, splice into black/green wire), and it works beautifully with one exception. Everything lights up like it's supposed to except the driver's low beam. Bulb was replaced two weeks ago, and I just pulled it out to make sure the filament was still intact...

Prior to P5s, what did you drive?

Drove my dad's '88 S-10 pickup in high school Then I got an '00 Cavalier that I played with for a few years (which hopefully I'm selling this weekend) Just got the P5 about a week ago, and I'm loving it (2thumbs)

    Replacing Dash Trim

My interior was pretty scratched up when I got it, so I sanded down the silver paint and sprayed it with Plasti-dip. Comes out as a nice slightly-textured satin black finish. It's a good option if you want to make sure everything fits right. Some people also like to paint them to match...

    100K MP5 Club

Glad I'm not the only one buying high-mileage Proteges, I just picked up mine on Tuesday with 115k. If it wasn't for this thread, I would have probably kept looking for something with fewer miles.

    Hi

After lurking for a while, and then finally buying a Protege5 a few days ago, I thought I'd say "hi" I just upgraded from a '00 Cavalier to a late '02 P5. No plans for this one anytime soon other than buying a new keyless entry fob and repainting (or probably plasti-dipping) the scratched up...
