I have the 1.6 DCi Qashqai. Believe me it is easily as good as the CX5 Engine. I thought it would lack power but I was so wrong! When Nissan stopped the 2.0 litre diesel it put me off thinking how could a 1.6 be any good in such a car. Well basically it's tremendous!

When my windows were misting up as described here is when I noticed my water leak. Check all footwells for damp or in my case pools of water when pressing on the carpet. It was bizarre. The water only showed at the rear of the footwells on the passenger side front and rear but parking on a slope...

I win... Well sort of I think the Dacia is out of the question!

So my New Qashqai arrived at the dealers today and is having a few bits and bobs fitted and its PDI before I collect on Monday. So Monday I will wave goodbye to my CX-5 and move on. It's gone from a great feeling when I picked up my Mazda to another great feeling picking up my Qashqai. Sad...

I have the car back now and as it's not raining so I can't comment if the leak has been fixed. Some points to note though. When I said to the guy in the dealer I have come to pick up my car, his response of "Do we know about it?" was unbelievable! It wasn't the guy who I had been dealing with...

It is in the dealers and has been for 4 weeks! Waiting on a part that has to come from Japan and going by the wait time has to be manufactured. Roll on 5 weeks and I get my new Nissan Qashqai.
