So I installed my HKS SSQV and decided to leave it in recirc mode. I had to modify the vacuum hose that goes into the small opening with a small plastic hose and had to buy a new vacuum filter. I thought that I hooked it up correctly, but I get the turkey sound from the damned thing instead of the loud ass chirp that I wanted. What the hell??

Glad I came across this thread, and saw those vids of yours Bova. I just picked up my HKS (recirced) w/ the CPE FMIC, but as you may know I have some boost leaks. I had no clue what the HKS should normally sound like, and once the boost leaks are figured out that fluttering would've had me second guessing (uhm) the pressure test we're doing on Thursday. Thanks a lot for posting them -very helpful! (2thumbs)

My HKS SQV Version III had way more flutter sound than the V2
