These are the things you will not see in the news.

this is my favorite one, because it shows that the people over there fighting are the same age as most of us on these forums.

An everyday occurance...

And lastly, here's the ghetto-assed way I had to listen to the only FM band radio station. (Armed Forces Network radio) Can you follow the path? oh, and the tactical knife sticking out of the deck was to keep the cassette adapter in place...

If you wanna see any more pictures, let me know

here are some of mine. the one with us half naked playing spades on the back of one of the trucks is the night we were supposed to go home. we got held up another 24 hrs in Iraq for one last mission. sadly, two of our men were blown off a truck when a white phosphorous round cooked off the next day when we should have been in kuwait.

I've heard that before ;) How long where you over there? I was present in Kirkuk when they caught Sadam. That was scary having the entire city shooting off rounds in the air to celebrate... all the bullets came down around us. kinda sucked... luckily no one got hit

more. first pic im on the left craning my neck to see the banding demonstration.

you see we had to clean (last pic) EVERYTHING. we spent over 24 hours straight cleaning so we wouldnt bring back any sand to the states.

i know what you're trying to get at with the post but NOT ONE american station reports anything to the contrary (of these pictures) other than the one abuse story at Abu Ghirab (sp?).

Did those soldiers do anything wrong?? in my eyes, nope.

Did they break their own rules? yes, and they are punished for it. (overly punished imo).

NO'ONE thinks we're just over there shooting babys and eating old people.

tell that to the liberals in monterey that have refused service and accosted my soldiers in town.

this is from cleaning..all the tired ass people.

i love the second to last pic. this is how many trucks plus more we used each day to disarm Baghdad.

last pic is how we stayed in shape. we took over a captured maint facility and made some weights.
