Hey guys right now my car is stock but im going to get it lowered soon. I found a set of wheels and tires on good ol craigslist. And there 178 +40 and tires are 45 series. What can i do? Will they work for a few weeks till i can get different tires. Or is the offset of the wheels no good. I need a lil help in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Those are good specs. Might need a fender roll depending how low you're going to go.

I run 17x8 +37.

45 series is the height. The first number (215/45/17) is the width.

245 is massive on a protege. At stock height you should be ok, but once you go low you need 215/40 and a roll and camber

hey guys, I wouldn't call myself stance yet, maybe flush? But I'm aiming to get there this spring.

My current setup: 18x7.5 +42, 5mm spacers

And a test fitment of the new wheels, coilovers & adjustable Upper BJs to be installed in a few weeks: 19x8.5 +24

Thank you gentlemen! lol @thaikim. The hood was freshly painted and at the time I had long commutes so I wanted to keep the rocks chips to a minimum. Most likely will come off soon.
