the Stance Thread v2.0

Absolutely. Only problem is that I am new to the scene and dont really know how to get negative camber with stock struts and lowering springs. Ive seen the little bolts from Eibach but dont really know how they work. Can you spare some advice? Also, if im going to have to get it re-aligned then I will probably just wait till I get my coilovers

Camber bolts work with slotted strut mounts. Not a great way in my opinion. My advice would be to not muck your fenders (not run low offset wheels with stock struts), wait until you get some coilovers with camber plates, as for alignments, these cars are really easy and can be done at home.

wanted to let you guys know that there is a street stance coilover package up for grabs
And hey here's a good set up and at a nice price! ^^ lol

Thanks man, Unfortunately I can't afford that right now but its an incredible deal. The fenders just got rolled and im not rubbing right now, so Ill probably wont mess with anything till I get my coilovers.

How she sits now but I just found out the rear passenger bearings / hub assembly need to be replaced. Looks like one of the ball bearings is missing (uhm) making a clicking noise.

Not sure about the rears, but i've been needing an alignment so i'll be sure to change the bearing first before i do.

that looks good. is an alignment required after changing wheel bearing?

word! no I haven't, Can't decide. I'm too picky probably. I think my problem is a lot of the wheels I like wouldn't suit a protege. Trying to find "temp" wheels right now. Hopefully find something used, quality, and somewhere close to the specs I want

Hey guys right now my car is stock but im going to get it lowered soon. I found a set of wheels and tires on good ol craigslist. And there 178 +40 and tires are 45 series. What can i do? Will they work for a few weeks till i can get different tires. Or is the offset of the wheels no good. I need a lil help in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Nice fitment ilovewheels!!! Is it my eyes, the sun, or your fender flares are not the same yellow as your car?

Starting to think about flares for my car too... would allow for larger tires, better handling. Where do you get these guys?

I think the color's a bit off, but I know that yellow is super hard to match. The flares are all custom for our cars. You get a fiberglass set on ebay and cut/bondo them up to fit the car.
