It's that Not that I'll go above 5psi "OR SO" that will get you every time!

I started out very content with 8psi but now my "OR SO" is about to be 25ish_psi on a bigger turbo

Ah that sucks... but priorities are understandable.
Reading through this thread made me think about the possibility of doing this with my build; high compression supercharged Proteg - which could still be considered NA when the switch is off - that would be interesting. Not sure my stock rods could take it, not that I'd go above 5psi or so.

LOL true, but thankfully with this type of setup it's not as easy as just turning the boost knob... 5psi would be just enough to actually get some low end torque and kick up the power when needed without needing to take apart the bottom end again. Plus with the higher compression, you wouldn't want to go higher anyway.

I'm just getting back into the world of actually getting a paycheck and I therefore have a few other priorities to take care of first... Otherwise I'd definitely consider it.
