Took my day off and finally worked on my headlights
I saw some people blacken their lights and most of them
were just completely blackened.. no chrome showing.
which i thought looked pretty vicious.. almost looks like
the headlights are one with the car... but wasnt my taste
so i went the extra step with the masking tape and razor blade.
Took a lotTTTT of sweat and love.. and voila final product
case closed!
when i actually seperated the clear headlight cover from the housing
(after baking it in the oven for 6 mins @ 350 F with the headlights
being naked <meaning all the bulbs and covers were removed> AND
the whole headlight ass. being wrapped around alumnium foil),
the cover came off with only little hassle but there
were silicone everywhere. Specially in the gaps where two links
together. I was never going to remove ALL that silicone..
so after i was done i just BLTed housing with clear silicone..
Now i juss pray that water wont leak into it.. which i highly doubt.
If nebodys done this~ what kind sealant did u use? and hows it
holding up so far???
well ill def. post some more pics once they are on the car.. i think
its going to look SICK!!! aiiite people.. sorry for such long post!
