I'll join in here!

My 18" RX8 stocks powder coated Illusion Violet with custom made centercaps. Though I do have nice black lugs now. 215/35/18 tires.

Is your car plasti-dipped?
Love the wheels!!

Here is a good pic of my wheels....

Scored these 16x8 +50mm beauty's with the rubber for $120! Not really sure of the brand but they turned out pretty good after i plastidipped them! 100 times better than the stocks! Sorry for the poor lighting.

Have anyone had any issues using 16x7 +40 with 205/50/16 tires on a stock MP5 without issues ? Planning on getting the Drag Dr31 bronze for my black MP5

17" x 9" TSW Hockenheim R's wrapped in Falken 245/40r17's.

All slammed on GC Coils and Tokio shocks. Shocks are slotted to give up to -5 degrees of camber for a slammed "stance" look for car shows. But I usually only have about -2 for autoX or less for rallyX.

Tell me this isn't a sick looking ride...

I wouldn't call it a disgrace, CERTAINLY not what I would do to mine but it is far from a disgrace. The work done here may not be for everyone but you must take into account that it obviously took time and money. A disgrace would be someone and something that took the same parts and ideas but put in 25% of the effort allowing the bumper to be held by zipties and the speakers to be misaligned while the not so elegant spoiler is crooked......Like I said may not be for everyone and certainly isn't for me but....That is the beauty of being individuals with different ideas.

Props on the build because it was at least done well. Keep the creativity going my friend, it may inspire some genius somewhere down the road in you, I or the next guy who sees something that can be done better or different. We should always aim to build on each other rather than tear each other apart.

OK so who knows the real truth here? I am hearing and seeing wheels that wheels of a lower positive offset wont ride right and that +45 and up are best. BUT I am seeing +40 and hearing no complaints. How is this happening? People just aren't worried about rubbing or are these wheels somehow fitting?

What is the proper size without rubbing?

FLIK Wheels
17x7
Offset = 40
19 LBS w/o tires
205/40 Kumho tires
Eibach Springs
No rubing

Just picked up a set of 18x8 40 offset. They test fit fine prior to tires any how. Do I need to go with a 215/35 or should a 225/35 fit any experiences? Stock suspension.

what happened to your old wheels mark? for sale? and... engine...?

Hood is Gemini Composites Reverse Cowl. You might find a used one for sale somewhere.

Nick, wheels and engine are long gone.
