I recently noticed that there are two spots inside my rear fenders where the tires have rubbed (+42 offset wheels + worn out suspension). There is a little rust forming where the paint chipped and I want to take care of it before it gets any worse. I did some research and found that Naval Jelly is popular, but no one mentions what it will do to the surrounding paint. Has anyone used this or anything else to neutralize rust before priming? Anyone have any suggestions for handling this?
