is this normal for autoexe style lip

Hi everyone,

just wondering is this normal for the lip to be like this? or is it supposed to sit flush?

this looks like a picture from inside the wheel well. I'd like to find out before i install mine.

that picture is not that great IMO but it does look normal, mine set the same way.

If by flush you are refering to the bottom of the stock front bumper to the lip, then no. I've installed it myself. Think about it. The lip sits about 2 inches lower.

the best fitment ive seen on any autoexe replica lip is about 95%. the main areas of concern are the front areas where the foglight cutouts are and at bottom front where it meets the lower grill. those are usually the areas where are gaps are most prominent.

i have 2 screws holding up each the sides of the lip in the fender well (4 total) and 2 under the lip (bolted on by the fogs/ the air dam thingy of the lip). looks normal though imo.
