Ebc redstuff or greenstuff brake pads any good?

Wanted to see if anyone has had any experience running any of the ebc brake pads. Last time I did the front brakes, I used some inexpensive semi metallic pepboy pads and they are pretty much done.

I was looking at upgrading to a better performance pad to help give the brakes a little help. My RX7 is not going to be running anytime soon and I have been wanting to take the car out for an autocross. But trying to justify spending almost $180 for pads... Also commute about 130 miles per day with some stop and go traffic.

Thanks,
James

Try a set of AXXIS ceramics. $180 is way too much for 4 wheels.

If you can get Axxis Metal Masters, they'd be a bit better in autox scenario than ceramics. They're fairly cheap, too.

Otherwise, the EBCs aren't bad at all. I ran the Greens on all my cars for years before i got a better feel of which would be DD and which would be race only.

I run EBC Yellows and Porterfield R4S on the race cars, and Metal Masters on the DDs now.
