DEI 528T question/Timer Delay for amp

I need to delay turning on my amp for about 45 secs after ignition startup (don't ask). I also need the amp to turn off immediately after the ignition is stopped.

I saw the DEI 528T and was interested in its ability to delay for 0-90 secs, but for some reason I can't get it to work.

I have wired it using the Bosch Relay wiring AND the DEI 528T wiring (because the 528T includes the bosch style relay in it) and it still isn't working. The line coming out of it is never getting 12V.

Has anyone worked on using this 528t? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help.

You could just add a swith on your remote wire. Put it in the armrest or something.

damn that was going to be my suggestion. Are you not getting 12v from the borsch or is this after the initial relay?
