Hope this is the final update: after a few followups, the dealership finally took my car in and gave me a curtesy car. A few days later they told me they have replaced the air intake valve. So far been a few weeks and it holds well. Btw my car is out of warranty when I brought the car in the second time. Part is covered by Mazda but not the labor. The dealership didn’t charge me for that though. Kind of nice of them.
