Hi All, I am a new owner of a used 2010 CX-9. I am thinking about replacing all the fluids with synthetics. I have already done the Engine oil and power steering. Transmission is next. I have done a transmission flush on my 05 Mazda3 by removing the oil return line. Basically it goes somthing like this:

1. Drain the pan about 3.5qt.
2. Re fill the Pan with the same about.
3. Remove the oil return/drain line and run the engine with transmission in N.
4. Oil will gush out into a dump bottle. Remove about 3 quarts this way and stop the engine.
5. Then re-fill the pan and repeat step 4. Usually 2 to 3 iterations will result in a full flush.

I was not able to see any such instructions posted here. Can someone please post a link to the instructions or at-least help me identify the right hose to pull.
My Transmission does not have an oil cooler.

Also, is there a diff in the FWD cars ? Should I flush it ?

Many thanks.
