Any photographers in here?

haha I could never commit to a fixie either. I was too cheap to buy a flip flop hub, so I just ran a free on my single speed. That was my commuter my junior year. I should rebuild that bike.

i rode my first fixie the other day and it was such a blast. they have generic fixies with flip/flop hubs on ebay for $200 shipped and im very tempted to pick one up but i dont know if i need more bikes in the garage. maybe if i were to dump my road bike but it wouldnt be a super practical swap

god these parts used to look so good, now its just greasy and scratched up

just made up a very quick panorama of a nice new riding spot that popped up down the street in the old landfill. im going out again soon with a tripod and more light to get a better shot but its going to be so nice to ride this stuff!

@reut - Shoot at manual settings to avoid different exposure
@lyon - I like the lizzard
@flyin - Was seriously worried until I saw that multitask text :)

i do need to try manual again. ive always had stuff come out too bright when doing so but im probably just missing one setting somewhere

Took this at work with my Powershot SX30 IS, no tripod, inside thru the window.....Not bad.....will see how it comes out tomorrow morning with my tripod.....

WAY too long of an exposure. The moon is really bright.

Yours were 1/80 sec so you're not getting much detail on the left edge.

Mine were ~1/800 sec. I didn't crop in as much as you either.

I did the whole super-moon a week or two ago (Tamron 70-300 lens on canon rebel xs):

And here is my latest portrait attempt. Critique and suggestions would definitely be accepted! 50mm F1.8 lens on Canon Rebel XS body
