Any photographers in here?

I agree w/ the comets, sometimes TIME is your worst enemy... I can spend hours upon the hours already spent and perfect them but I have to move one lol....

As far as lighting;Nikon SB600 (2) & SB800, AlienBees B800 (3) juiced by Vagabond II. To trigger I use CyberSyncs CST and CSRB

Beautiful shots!!! Think you could PM me some higher res versions of all of those Javo??? Atleast 1680x1050 if possible please.

Also, love the ZiptiesFTW sticker on the 240, haha.

Whats the lighting setup on the viper? Nice shot man. Any modifiers on the lights?

Whats up FunkyBuddha, for the viper shot I placed two bee's on each end each w/ a 60" umbrella and to the right side near me I had the third w/ a softbox. i don't remember exactly about the setting but I say 1/4 power on each end and beside me set at full. Hope this helps.

I might be in trouble guys... Look what I found in my parent's basement today:

I wish I did that pic of "Peggy's Light" when I was visiting there, but there were too many damn people around!!! That's Peggy's Cove by the way in Nova Scotia.

I guess one of the biggest questions i have is how I get whatever 35mm photos i take online to be able to share. Is there a better way than others or is just scanning the print going to cut it?

the best thing is a fancy-dancy dedicated film scanner. but if you don't have that a flat bed scan of a decent print will do. here's a scan from a 4x6 print shot with a late '60s minolta:

please let me know what you think. I was working with my wifes D300 and using two SB600 on stands with shoot through umbrellas. The "DSC" titles are the originals the "test" files are edits. I was more experimenting to figure out the distance the 600's would fire from the D300, but I think a couple of them turned out pretty good. Average exposure time was around 3-6 second, minimum f-stop of 4something (wide angle lens) and and ISO of 400 I think.

Thanks in advance for any constructive criticism.

I wear that strap when I use that camera. It's too awesome to pass up. In fact, I pick out all of my clothes so that they match the strap.

They're ok. I'm not digging the ones that you've edited to be blurry. Also, the car is taking up too much of the frame in most of them, and they don't have very interesting composition. They're sharp pictures, and well lit from what my amateur eye is picking up. Try to make the picture have room to breathe or insinuate movement by leaving room for the car to go in the photo. just my 2 cents.

The composition could be better. LIke cut off parts, etc doesn't bode well. Car fills up too much of the photos. The tilt shift effect doesn't work and I'm not really feeling it either. Your white balance is off as well on most of your photos. Shoot with a Fstop greater than 5 so your car is sharp through and through.
