Any photographers in here?

Ir is sooo sweet. I attempted it once but I had to use a small lens because I was using a filter meant for a surfire flashlight. Turned out crappy but it was a mcguyver attempt at least

Sick... I like :)

I've got an upcoming office party and was thinking on purchasing a Nikkor 35 or 50mm 1.8 lens, but dont think that I'll have the money by that time. So I was thinking on renting that lens or/and a wide one, but there's only Sigma to rent (I've got a 18-200 F3.5-5.6 Nikkor lens). I can choose from:
Sigma 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 EX DG IF HSM
Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC
Sigma 17-70 F2.8-4.5 DC
Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6 HSM EX DC

Suggestions? Or shold I stick with the current Nikkor.

Also I've got an SB-800 at my disposal.
Any tips on shooting and what (not) to do are appreciated.

17-70
You won't need anything wider than a 17 or else people will look fat and distorted
You won't need anything more than 70 if you're shooting with flash since the light reaching that far is gonna suck anyways
