yes the PZ neros have like a 400 tread wear
and the toyo proxes 4 only have a 300 rating.
but the price for the neros are so much higher! i was gonna get them but i really couldn't afford to dish out the extra 150.
anyways i'm sure they are a good tire. i went with the proxes 4... very good tire
basically any new tire is gonna handle very well in the rain cause the grooves in the treads are much deeper.. when the tire touches the ground the rain gets displaced into the grooves... the shallower the gooves the less water that can be displaced into them and the rest of the water the wheel runs over them, and hence you hydroplane becuase the wheel isn't touching the tarmac.
