mazda 3
Hi, I just made an account because I want to go look at a Mazda 3 to purchase tomorrow.

I know little to nothing about Mazdas but it looks like it is in good condition.

It's a 2004 and the mileage is 215,000. They're asking $2,800.

Will a Mazda with that many miles still be reliable? Is this a horrible idea?

That all depends upon how well it was maintained throughout its life. I would think that even it were well-maintained, it would not be worth that much. I like to cap max miles of a well-used car to 120,000 or so, and only if I am happy with it's history.

As mentioned above at Mileage above 120k be prepared to spend $$$ and always know the service history. Some individuals take great care of their cars while others are to busy with life to even change the fluids. The approach is if it ain't broke why fix it. You'll see their cars in the parking lots with nearly bald tires ect. At over 200k I be very very careful and offer them a grand at best. They have gotten their moneys worth out of the car if they were original owners.n
