I also have a custom billet MAF, Some kickass EBC/DYNO thing, a new badass adjustable actuator, the extra MPI injectors, and some other things.

Nope I rebuilt the tranny and added 5GRAND of other stuff.
This year it is the motor.
I got over 120,000 miles with all kinds of boost and other mods and up to 20PSI on a bigger turbo.
So all in all it is time.

Yes, Dear Captain. I too am glad to see some movement on this build.
We start on Oct. the 6th. I have to buy an engine hoist and some other stuff but we are ever so close.

Well the tear down is complete. We took it all apart and with 124,000 miles and up to 20PSI on a modified turbo all I did was crack a ringland.
So all in all the MPI and the J&S really did their job.
The block, head, rods, pistons, flywheel, pressure plate and some other stuff are at the machine shop waiting for $800.00-1000.00 of machine work to be completed.
They are doing a lot to it. TheMan could explain it all in clearer terms than I but they are strapping the head down to a thing cold then heating it up and checking all the tolerances, dry film lubricating the bearings, piston tops and skirts, boring it .20 over, new valve seals, and some other stuff.
It is a really long list. It is going to be built to handle 30PSI.
I roasted the s*** out of the Spec Stage 2 it was far too weak to handle the quick spool and low end torque of this modified turbo so it was easily overwhelmed. I have a new disc coming.
I also have a custom billet MAF that has no screen in it and is much larger than stock with a custom harness for it. It is completely open with a circlular sensor embedded in the billet housing.

Ion vs GHL yes, they are very dirty but they will be cleaned.
Both of them are 3'' divorced S-pipes with modified MPI Nick turbos.
They both have the MPI NICK ported and polished/ceramic coated manifolds. They are dirty as heck but they will clean up very nicely.

Toby's day of liberation is at hand!

Cracked ring land was all that went wrong after 124,000 miles of high boost. Thank you J&S and MPI tuner.

Stock flywheel vs JDM lightened one.

Ok, I am a dumbass it is not billet but it is aluminum. I just examined it closely for the first time :)
This thing works great but you must have the extra injectors for the MPI (so I am told) and the custom harness to make it work. It takes some tuning but when it is right it kicks ass as well as adding some crazy ass intake noise :) Apoc had it working in his car.

what was your fuel setup previously and what do you plan on using for 30 psi?

Is Apoc looking to trade his turbo for a stock one?
Well, I gummed up the wheel in mine with all the oil that got sucked through the cold side due to the MASSIVE blow by caused by the cracked piston ringland. It took a 1000 miles to gum it up (a testament to the good running condition of Toby even in a broken state.)
I did not know it was sucking all the oil out at first so as a result I gummed up the turbo.
Now it is going back to Nick to be fixed and I will be using Apocs. Once it comes back all clean and new from Nick I will then install the repaired turbo on Apoc's car.
I almost bought a new GT28RS but to be honest the INSANE useable torque this Nick turbo makes is just too hard to resist.
