have u guys thot of the reason that the "ping" sound may sounds different or muffled when using a different tip, its the material the inlet is made out of. mr. mazda had the htp which is steel, if ur using cobb's or cpe's, those are silicone/rubber hoses which would deaden the sound of the bpv...

theres a good how to on the "other" forum. there are decent instruction that come the cpe. what i did was take in to a shop the extra money to have it install was well worth it imo.

yeah i did...im thinking an o-ring might have fallen out. do u know how many gaskets/o-rings come stock on the bottom end of the bpv?

i just finished installing my cpe dp and after re-installing everything i drove the car around and the oem bpv was fluttering. my mods are jus the dp and a cobb intake. any ideas of why this is happening or how to fix?

ms3 are efi, theres no need to mention a carb lol hell i dont think a carb has been used since the way early 80s. but your right tho none the less
