    More MS6's for Canada!!!

believing those production numbers/times is like believing Canada was only getting 250 MSP's... Mazda Marketing Dept. working hard!

    0 -60 (stopwatch)

I usually measure 6.4 seconds 0 - 60 using my palm OBDII scanner. Stock boost, ground controls. 60 is just before the rev limiter in 2nd.

JIC's should fit, right? Then how come . . .

I believe unless JIC has changed them... they do not fit without spacers or 50mm offset wheels instead of 55mm offset.

    Alignment after lowering?

Yes it's needed. You're changing your struts and springs, you will see as you drive the car the first time, I guarantee your alignment will be way off. Book your alignment for as soon as you can.

    Ground Control - Strut Bearings

Yes, full stock length MSP bumpstops. I think I was too low on the GC's and the bumpstops were the spring, instead of the spring.

    Ground Control - Strut Bearings

I can't remember the last time I wasn't on pavement. I greased them up really good the last time I replaced them. The passenger side one is so bad right now that I reached in and pulled a chunk off. It clunks really loud, it's the metal spring hat contacting the stock upper mount.

    Ground Control - Strut Bearings

I have an 03 MSP, still running the stock front bar, am not very low, and am about to replace my strut bearings for the third time this summer. I talked to the guys at Ground Control, and they suggest the strut bearings are being destroyed due to too much load on them. They thought maybe I'm too...

    ground controls INSTALLED! (finally) PICS

Let me know when you destroy your first strut bearing. And the second... and the third.....

    ground controls INSTALLED! (finally) PICS

If you wrap the strut body with something like duct tape, you will virtually elminate the noises that are the result of using the single rubber o-ring supplied with the kit.

JIC's should fit, right? Then how come . . .

I've seen another MSP that has this problem. The factory tires rub against the JIC struts if you don't use a wheel spacer. This car isn't extremely low either. I think the problem might be solved by slotting the bolt holes on the bottom of the strut, therefore moving the strut assembly towards...

    Ultimate AutoX Alignment Thread

I disagree with the rear struts... I'm running 350lb rear and the back end is bouncy, I think the rear's are maxxed out around 300lbs.

Different front and rear tire size and speedometer

Having a different sized rear wheel/tire could do interesting things when braking.
