    "Unsafe" tires at 15K

The BFG KDW2's will give you AWSOME dry and wet traction but they are very loud and they suck in snow. I have a set on my Ford Focus and I love them, but I don't drive it in the winter snow. I have a 4 wheel drive truck for that. We put a set of Pirellli Scorpion Ice and Snow tires on my wifes...

Reflash being done and etc :

Had the re-flash done last week, helps out quite a bit. I think the re-flash adjusts the shift points in relation to the throttle position and allows the transmission to drop down two gears when you stomp on the gas. It seem to go from 6th down to 4th now when you mash the gas. Allowing the RPM...

Does CAI gives better gas millege?

A Cold Air Intake CAN give you better mileage provided you don't keep sticking your foot in the gas because you like the performance increase of the engine. That's the hard part. So in the end the answer is probably not.

Dude, after posting this, you got no room to talk!!

    License Plate Lights..

LED's are diodes, they don't care about "Voltage" it's current that they are sensitive to. Too little and they are dim, too much and they explode! If you are replacing your bulbs with aftermarket LED bulbs you shouldn't have any problems. If you want to make your own custom installation you need...

    tires

I had the same experience here in Colorado. On ice and snow the Bridgestone's weren't very good. I replaced them with Perilli Scorpion Ice and Snow tire and found them to be much better.

    Driver's Mirror Curved

We noticed that also, I talked to the dealer and looked at some other CX-7 but they all seem to have it. I agree it is anoying and I haven't seen this on any other vehical. You would think that the drivers side mirror would be flat not distorted. It isn't bad and you can sort of get used to it...

Anyone try those LED side mirrors?

The passenger side has that connector also. But is probably not for LED lights.

Yeah, that's as bad as those Mercedes with brush guards!

    TPM display

It is not really a "monitor", it's just a fancy idiot light. A light comes on, which looks like a semi deflated tire with an ! mark in the center, when any one of your tire's pressure drops below 32psi. It would be cool if it actually displayed the pressure in each tire!

POLL - What vehicle(s) did you own before the CX-7?

We sold my wife's 1995 Honda Passport and got the CX-7. She loves it. We wanted to look at the RDX but it wasn't due to be released for several months. As it turns out the CX-7 was the better deal. Our's fully loaded was priced at the point where the RDX started.

    Steel wheels for Winter

mogulman is correct the TPMS is just an idiot light on your dash for girlie-men who can't check their own tire pressure. It doesn't really "monitor" your tire pressure anyway, it just lights up when your pressure drops below 32psi. I run the pressure at 36psi so its pretty useless to me. The...

So, did you consider the CX-9?

I looked at one at the dealership but we had already bought a CX-7 and it didn't look like their was much room in the third row of seats. Maybe kids could fit back there but not adults. It looked a lot like a CX-7 without a cargo area. The front end doesn't look as good on the CX-9 either.

    Steel wheels for Winter

Hahah... I guess I scored, got 4 OEM rims for my wife's CX-7 with shipping to my door for $405.00 from eBay! No pressure sensors though. So now I check the tire pressure every time she fill the gas tank and she ignores the light on the dash. The TPM sensors are $85.00 each from the dealer. We...

    Rust !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rust on the rotors!? LOL, yeah every time I wash my vehicles! It's normal on the break rotors, their steel and your pads scrape them down to new metal every time you slow down, nothing to worry about, it's just surface rust and it will come right off when you apply the breaks. By the way it...
