I agree with you to a point It's a good thing to give your car needed time to move the oil from the pan to the valves, piston and other vital parts. Oil isn't "magically" in these parts in sufficient levels because most of it drains to the pan. I don't believe you need to sit there for anymore...

From their engine? I wanna say it's towards the left side of the engine. I know it's not being short on oil, I put in 4qt today cause I did an oil change, then added a little more and the dipstick says it's in the good zone, plus this has been going on since last change. Curious if anyone else...
