If it is anything like the Protege brakes, there is a 14mm bolt on the back of the caliper that you remove and there is a set screw inside of the caliper. Not sure if this is helpful, but I hope it is. Jordan

Check behind the cig lighter and make sure neither of the wires/or connector have come loose. I know that they aren't the best wires/connecor.

I use Meguiar's Gold Class wipes as well, 1 wipe usually does my whole dashboard and console. I would stay away from Armorall stuff, it's supposed to crack in exposed areas. As long as you use them in areas that are not exposed to the sun, you should be alright though. I've never used them...

where are you located? if you're in a cold climate, like me, it's gonna take some to warm up and run normal. when I start up my car, it stays around 2500rpm, but once its warmed up, it idles right around 700 nice and steady.

I had the same issue when I was installing XP the last time, turns out I had a bad hd. Used an old xbox hd to install windoze, worked fine, just try another hd if you have one available, instead of all those tests. (thumb)
