    435 miles on a tank

After close to three years and 40,000 miles, I wouldn't mind having the GT auto transmission. So much shifting, and the tranny isn't really inspiring. But it's holding up well. I haven't had any issues with the car...okay, it still does that damned hesitation thing once in a blue moon when...

    435 miles on a tank

With all the talk about hypermiling on the cleanmpg.com forums, I pumped up the 5's tire pressure to 42psi all around after they were warmed up. Max pressure is rated at 44psi w/max load. The car is at half a tank right now with 250 miles traveled. I'll see how much better mileage it will...

    engine break-in and fuel efficiency

My 5 has gotten 30mpg avg when driven conservatively. I never had any bad mileage numbers even when the car was brand new.

Mazda5 engine stumble during light acceleration TSB

My 5 does have the manual transmission. The hesitation makes it feel as if you let the clutch out too soon. I can't comment on any automatics having this issue. So will Mazda issue a recall on this problem?

    2007 Mazda5 Sirius

Joeboy, I don't have any "how-to" pics. I just started pulling things apart, and got the unit out. It only requires a screwdriver, however. The silver covering is separate from the radio. Once that was out, I used tape (sounds tacky) to secure that Sirius car kit dock to it. Funny you got...

YOUR OPINION: TWM PERFORMANCE Short Shifter

I would buy one for a reasonable price. Say, under $130. Currently have a shift knob from kartboy.com and would like some firmer shift points.

sirius sat. unit for 5 head unit

It's not hard to install. You should get the FM adapter plug from sirius.com or tssradio.com. If you're putting the unit in a Mazda 5, take the black plate out. The mobile mount that the unit sits on pretty much fits right that spot. I used tape on the inside of the plastic bracket. BTW, I...

    Three Step Detail

There are so many names for the spray: "Showroom Shine" "Quick Detailer" Use that with a clean cloth, preferably, a micro fiber towel. Also, if there are some stubborn spots on the paint. Use the claybar as it does not remove wax. As far as helping the dust problem, next detail you do, try...
